Aren't these Silver and brass Indian lassi cups wonderful? I have had my eye on them ever since seeing them in my lovely friend Kerrie's shop Gypsy River, I have taken the plunge and brought two, one is a vase and the other is our toothbrush holder. They look great as vases, pen holders, make up brush holders, or even for drinking a refreshing cup of home made mango Lassi.... mmmm Lassi!

I have been a big fan of Justina Blakeney for some time now. Her beautiful blog is always such a warm place to visit... recipes, fashion and bohemian interior design all in one place, whats not to love?

So I was really pleased when Justina agreed to let me share with you some of the pictures of her beautifully eclectic, bohemian home. Using a mixture of organic, natural colours, international textiles, juxtaposed with bright neon cushions and paint work, this house really is so individual and beautiful. There is even a beautiful Handira hanging above the bed...I am totally inspired for my new home...

The minute I saw that top picture I fell in love.... Everything about it is perfect, the Kilim cushions, the layered rugs, the books, the bed on the floor... all that's missing is me, my current read (Lolita), a pot of tea and my Nag Champra :)

....So my search (thanks to Introducing New Worlds) is over, so here is the home of the Lovely Laura aka Godessofxanadu on flickr. A life long collector of beautiful fabrics, Laura lives in this charming Victorian home with her other half and cute pups.  Following on from the cob homes post.... I have for a long time loved the top two images but never been able to find a reliable source on tumblr or pintrest etc.. which is such a pain as I would love to know more about these beautiful creative homes.

However, on my quest to find out more I came across so many beautiful painted mud homes from all over the world. The bottom two are from the Bhunga tribe in India, who decorate their mud homes with paint, raised mud and mirrors, aren't they stunning!


p.s if any one knows more about the top two please let me know :)
